ARTIST STATEMENT

“When the one I care for the most hurts me the most, I learn to move on in order to protect my brilliance, the essence of my being. Now, I am ready to bring forth that shining, which has awaited its moment for too long.

Textiles are constructed surfaces with human intentions. Beyond meeting basic needs, their primary purpose has always been to express the beauty and power of the wearer. For me, textiles are undoubtedly an art medium, communicating through their own vocabulary. I aim to demonstrate that one can eloquently express intangible emotions even within the perceived rigidity of textile techniques like cross-stitch, often dismissed as mere pixel art in clichés. The tangible immediacy of embroidery always evokes a true sense of living along with emotions that follow.”
